Private label start-up capital requirements

Hey everyone,

Although this has been asked before in a variety of ways, I haven't got a clear up-to-date explanation:

Most YouTube Amazon FBA Private Label tutorials mention a few thousand £/$ as a necessary startup cost. Their clickbaity 'how much you really need to start' videos are always just saying that £/$500 isn't gonna be enough.

However, deeper research on forums like this, as well as picking up on on passing comments by interviewees on their online-course success videos always, seems to suggest far larger sums are required, in the region of 10-15k+.

I understand that this is probably related to the difference in suggested price niche being touted in the courses and the actual potentially profitable price niches.

Can anyone please clarify: How much do you *actually * need to start a successful FBA PL business not on a tight budget?
