The International Certified E-commerce Professionals Association (CEP) is a Not-for-profit organization for E-commerce Professionals.
CEP is the abbreviation of Certified E-commerce Professional, and also the alias of International Certified E-commerce Professionals Association, sometimes will be the title of who has the certificate given by this organization. Its services include the E-commerce project of standards, research, education, publication, networking opportunities in the Internet community, hosting conferences and training seminars, and providing accreditation for E-commerce Professionals.
The organization is dedicated to improving the communication of the E-commerce community through:
- A diversified membership base of allied professionals involved in the creation and management of E-commerce companies;
- Continuous development and transformation of standards and formats;
- Education and certification of professionals to improve E-commerce project delivery processes;
- Creation of practice tools and methodologies to assist professionals Through their careers;
- Provide leadership in E-commerce-related standards, education, and access;
Development of specifications best practices, promulgating standards and formats to improve the organization of specification information, professional education, and certification were cornerstones of the organization. Its efforts are essential in improving E-commerce company specification quality so that it can meet the demands of the Internet boom.
CEP was initiated by the E-commerce Professionals of Canada, America, China, and other countries who came together to improve the progression of E-commerce. CEP was registered in the Federal Government of Canada and California USA, headquartered in Richmond, Canada.
The first CEP meeting was attended by some employees from the biggest Internet companies in 2018. It was a continuation of the work of some earlier Internet communities. Representatives from non-governmental entities were invited to attend starting with the CEP meeting in February 2018. Since that time all CEP meetings have been open to the public.
In December 2020, CEP convened a committee of E-commerce Professionals to establish a standardization that seeks to document E-commerce company's employee standards called the EPOM level.
When we look at the Internet, we can see it's still changing, constantly evolving Internet into every sphere of life and every scientific field. The reason for this rapid development is that Internet technology speeds up the whole time.
